    DHA Group, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Active Directory Systems Engineer with an active Top-Secret Clearance and SCI Eligibility, to support a very dynamic customer in Washington, DC.

     

    Technical Requirements:

    • Experience Analyzing the Active Directory environment to identify both technical and operational challenges and develop continuous improvement action plans
    • Experience creating custom scripts using VBScript and PowerShell
    • Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
    • Expert knowledge of Domain Name Services (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Windows Internet Naming Service (WINS), Domain File System (DFS and DFSR) in a Windows 2012 and Windows 2016 environment
    • At least 5 years of experience in implementing Windows security concepts and policies
    • Experience as the owner of the Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for the Enterprise Identity Management environment
    • Experience serving as the escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems
    • Act as a project lead or participate as a team member on projects involving all aspects of direction
    • Some experience with Active Directory 2016 or at least 2 years of experience with Windows Server 2012 Active Directory
    • Experience providing Enterprise-level support for Active Directory and Windows File Services
    • Experience with, and a thorough understanding of, monitoring best practices. Preferably with Microsoft System Center Operation Manager (SCOM)
    • Experience performing daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
    • Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Active Directory and third party software utilities for hardware systems
    • Experience creating and maintaining system documentation, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps
    • Participate in capacity planning, performance monitoring and maintenance to ensure high availability and proactively identify opportunities for service improvement
    • At least 5 years of experience providing operational support for enterprise level Active Directory environments
    • Knowledge of server virtualization technologies
    • Experience providing training

     Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or Mathematics
    • Experience with integration of applications with Active Directory via LDAP and Kerberos for authentication and authorization, and single sign on
    • Some experience with additional directory technologies such as, Forefront Identity Manager (FIM)/Microsoft Identity Manger (MIM) and Azure AD Connect
    • Experience supporting and troubleshooting Active Directory COTS products with IIS and SQL components
    • Add something regarding Service Manager or other ticketing system
    • Experience with third party Monitoring tools such as Active Administrator; change Auditor of for AD, Recovery Manager for AD, etc.
    • Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM)
    • Local Account Password Solution (LAPS)
    • Microsoft Bitlocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM)
    • At least 3 years of experience with integration of applications with Active Directory via LDAP and Kerberos for authentication and authorization
    • At least 3 years of experience with integration of applications with Active Directory via LDAP and Kerberos for authentication and authorization
    • Expert knowledge of Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services
    • Expert knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) in Windows Server 2012 and Windows 2016

    Desired Knowledge and skills:

    • Some experience with and Azure AD Connect
    • Experience supporting multiple cloud service providers to include but not limited to Amazon Web Services, Azure and Office 365
    • Experience with supporting federation, ADFS for application single sign on cloud adoption
    • Experience Analyzing the Active Directory environment to identify both technical and operational challenges and develop continuous improvement action plans
    • Experience creating custom scripts using VBScript and PowerShell
    • Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPOs

    Preferred Soft Skills:

    • Self-starter; able to manage multiple tasks efficiently for on-time delivery
    • Self-motivated, proactive team player

    Desired Years of experience: 5 years

    Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
