    DHA Group, Inc. is looking for an Office/ HR Assistant to support our headquarters office in Washington, DC. This position requires you to be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.


    The Office/ HR Assistant will have tasks across multiple departments but will have a focus on: Being the point of contact for our employees and the building, assisting the HR Manager, supporting employee onboarding & offboarding, taking care of the office and fulfilling office related projects. The mission of this role is to project a service mentality, as well as an attitude of gratitude at all times. This is essential in being the first and the last person that guests, customers, and employees see.

    Human Resources:


    • Perform Reference Checks for New Hires
    • Background checks
    • E-verify
    • Full lifecycle of employment in ADP (set up, update, terminate)
      • Update ADP with (employee anniversary dates, performance reviews, news, and announcements)
      • ADP Password resets
    • Full lifecycle of employment in HR Connect
      • Send HR Connect emails
    • Take over New Hire Orientation- once on boarded
      • Prepare DHA New Hire Welcome Bags
      • Prepare DHA New Hire Folders
      • Prepare and send New Hire Orientation Schedule/ Agenda
      • Coordinate with caterer for new hire orientation breakfast & lunch
    • Send email request/ set up
      • Outlook Password resets

    (Daily HR Responsibilities)

    • Manage and keep HR files up to date
    • Complete HR requests as needed
    • Maintain HR log/ No New Hire List          



    • Place Orders- (Guernsey, Staples, DHA trinkets, business cards, New Hire Breakfast, New Hire Lunch)
    • Manage and Update Outlook distribution list
    • Update and Send out DHA contact list
    • Daily mail pick up/ send outs
    • Scanning
    • Maintain kitchen and office areas (clean, stocked, and equipped)
    • Maintain Printers: paper/ ink
    • Enter visitors in Kastle System
    • Greet visitors
    • Maintain Visitor Log
    • Maintain Security Cone & initiate hand- off at end of day
    • POC for building security



    Skills and Experiences:

    • (Required) Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
    • (Required) 1 year minimum of HR experience and/ or Internship in a corporate setting with HR related work
    • (Required) Bachelor’s Degree
    • (Required) Experience with Excel & MS Office Suite


    Internal Recruiting Notes:

    • This person must be able to perform day- to- day tasks in a timely manner (8am start- ending the day at 5pm)
    • Ongoing Working Projects:
      • Updating GAL
      • Maintaining MCL
      • Correcting Name & Address Change List
      • HR File Audit
    • (Required) Able to multitask, great communicator, very organized, & a natural mindset for attention to detail
