    DHA is looking for a BPM Technical Lead to support a dynamic customer in Crystal City, VA. This position requires obtaining an MBI Public Trust as well as holding an active Top-Secret Clearance.

    Summary Position Description (Narrative- A day in the life):

    • Interface with all areas of the project including internal and external users and define project scope, identification of business requirements, technical requirements, and policy requirements associated with the system enhancements
    • Analyzes POD program requirements and provides technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to the DSNet program office
    • Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.
    • Prepare and provide the program office a weekly status on assigned projects/tasks
    • Track and report on project milestones and provide status, issues, and/or technical concerns to the project sponsor
    • Act as a liaison between the project stakeholders/sponsors and team members
    • Facilitate meetings between the customer, project sponsor, and development team as needed to ensure requirements are fully understood
    • Generate meeting minutes; capture and track team actions
    • Comply with the Department of Justice (DOJ) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
    • Create new or update existing project documentations such as system design documents, test plan, requirements traceability requirements, user handbooks, etc.
    • Submit and present requirements to the Prisoner Operations Division (POD) change control board
    • Review the system development updates and quality of work at critical milestone to ensure requirements are met
    • Collaborate with DSNet development and internal/external development team to ensure proper integration of data between systems
    • Coordinate and monitor testing events on all phases with internal and external agency users, maintain issue log, coordinate issue resolution with development team, and obtain user sign-off/approval for deployment
    • Regularly conduct meetings with the team members to ensure that project timeline is met and all aspects of the project are covered and smoothly coordinated to the appropriate departments and other government entity
    • Provide tier 2 level IT support on DSNet service desk tickets



    • 4+ years related experience in IT
    • Must have experience with Appian BPM 7.x versions.
    • Operating Systems - Windows, Red Hat Linux, AIX
    • Strong communication and presentation skills
