  • Job Description

    DHA is looking for a Systems Administrator to support our largest client in Washington, DC. This position requires an active Top Secret Clearance. 

    We have a team on-site at our customer that develops and maintains a secured, cross-domain mobile (laptop) platform for remote access to specific systems. This team consists of Systems Admins, Engineers and Architects who implement customer requirements into production ready solutions.

     

    The current version of the system is up and running and we’re looking for an experience Systems Admin or Engineer to join our team to provide both O&M and Engineering support. The environment is a mix of Windows and Linux (RHEL 6, RHEL 7), cross-domain tools, VPN tools and other security devices.

     

    Job Requirements:

    • Assist in the design and support of scalable virtualized platforms (both desktop and server)
    • Support the Enterprise Remote Access Service (ERAS) on a daily basis
    • Secure network devices to include modems, routers, and switches
    • Support Agile development at daily SCRUM meetings and perform as SCRUM Master as necessary
    • Participate in design reviews of components (hardware and software) to ensure applicability to the current system and traceability of requirements through compliance verification and validation
    • Recommend changes to improve systems and system security, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes
    • Provide higher tier trouble shooting and issue resolution when problems are escalated
    • Perform special integration projects in the ERAS environment as required

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • 7+ years of relevant IT experience, with 5+ years in solution design, integration, deployment, and operations
    • Experience with Unix and Linux systems build, design and integration
    • Experience with Microsoft Powershell and/or Unix shell scripting
    • Experience with Enterprise VPN concentrators such as Juniper and/or Cisco and/or Aruba
    • Knowledge/Experience in PKI and VMWare
    • At minimum Associates Degree in related field
