Job Description

DHA Group, Inc. is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support our headquarters office in Washington, DC. This position requires you to be able to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.


The mission of DHA’s Administrative Assistant is to project a positive and caring energy, as well as an attitude of gratitude, towards our staff and guests at all times. You will be “taking care of” us.  You will be taking care of our guests, taking care of our headquarters staff and taking care of our headquarters environment.

Job Requirements:

            HR/ Payroll:

  • Full lifecycle of employment in ADP (set up, update, terminate)
    • Update ADP with (employee anniversary dates, performance reviews, news, and announcements)
    • ADP Password resets
  • E-verify
  • Background checks
  • Full lifecycle of employment in HR Connect
    • Send HR Connect emails
  • Enter PR Hours
  • Maintain HR log/ No New Hire List
  • Enter and update employees medical selection for Finance
  • Create and Send performance review templates
    • Maintain performance log for weekly meetings
  • Manage and keep HR files up to date
  • Update task IDs
  • Send email request/ set up
    • Outlook Password resets
  • Take over New Hire Orientation- once on boarded
  • Complete HR requests as needed
  • Prepare DHA New Hire Welcome Bags
  • Prepare DHA New Hire HR Folders



  • Place Orders- (Guernsey, Staples, DHA trinkets, business cards, New Hire Breakfast, New Hire Lunch)
  • Manage and Update Outlook distribution list
  • Update and Send out DHA contact list
  • Daily mail pick up/ send outs
  • Scanning
  • Maintain kitchen and office areas (clean, stocked, and equipped)
  • Maintain Printers: paper/ ink
  • Enter visitors in Kastle System
  • Greet visitors
  • POC for building security


Skills and Experiences:

  • (Required) Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
  • (Required) 1 year minimum of HR experience and/ or Internship with HR related work
  • (Preferred) Bachelor’s Degree
  • (Preferred) Background in HR, experience with ADP
