Job Description

DHA Group, Inc. is looking for an IT Specialist with an active Top Secret Clearance, to support a very dynamic customer in the Washington, DC area.


Qualified candidate will be responsible for performing duties under general supervision and guidance from technical staff using detailed problem specifications provided by others.  Work is monitored while in progress and reviewed upon completion for accuracy and compliance with standards. Performs technical work of a professional level using standard techniques, concepts and procedures.  Expected to show initiative and judgment in performing assigned tasks.


Typical duties include maintaining and administering microcomputer and desktop systems and associated peripherals, telecommunications products, business application software, and various operating systems.




  • Install desktops, portable microcomputers, peripherals, and software products for networked, classified and unclassified, and standalone environments.
  • Detect, diagnose, and resolve desktop and portable microcomputer software and hardware failures.
  • Provide information, guidance, and instruction on use of desktop and portable microcomputer hardware and software.
  • Analyze and assess customers’ service request and provide prompt technical solutions.
  • Conduct IT audits in compliance with policies governing the administration, utilization, and acquisition of desktop and portable microcomputer products.
  • Prepare progress/status reports team leads.
  • Utilize trouble-ticketing software for opening/closing tickets in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Identify and document areas for process improvements.
  • Contact and effectively communicate with users by telephone, electronic communications, or in person.
  • Prepare equipment for reuse or surplus of property actions.
  • Provide technical support for customers assigned to remote locations.
  • Perform software and hardware upgrades and installations involving multiple microcomputers configured for desktop, portable, and server operations.
  • Coordinate the disassembly and reinstallation of automation equipment in support of office relocations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. IT Certifications for applicable to Desk Side Support and a minimum one year experience desired.
